We are seeking a new Trusts and Foundations Officer to join our UK Operations team. This is an exciting time to join a growing organisation and a fantastic opportunity to support transformational change for some of the world’s most vulnerable people living on the frontline of the climate crisis. About the role:
Working within the Operations team, the Programme Funding Officer’s role will include:
Lead on proposal development and grant writing for new and existing trust and foundations, institutional donors and corporates securing restricted income to grow and develop Tree Aids programme of work.
Deliver high quality donor stewardship and grant management for a portfolio of restricted donors, in order to build rewarding and long-term relationships to maximise support for our work.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both in English and French and be able to develop a compelling case for support in order to gain financial support for our work. You will be a confident networker, able to develop strong relationships with trusts and foundations, institutional and corporate donors. In addition, you will be able to work confidently and effectively across teams, both in the UK and Africa, including working with French-speaking colleagues. You will need to be able to manage a challenging workload, meeting deadlines and delivering work to a high standard.
