We invite you to join this brilliant training led by Anuradha Kowtha, head of The Kowtha Constellation. This workshop will look at how we can shift our organisations towards locally-led development, making practical changes within our organisations to better meet the trend in our sector and the increasing focus of the FCDO ahead of anticipated funding calls.
A critical part of localisation is understanding the roots of our sector and the legacy of these on how we still do things today. In exploring what needs to change and why, this workshop will equip UK-based organisations to begin necessary shifts in practice towards localisation in international development. With the recent White Paper on International Development, we know localisation is a key theme within the FCDO’s approach to international development. This workshop is part of a series on localisation that SWIDN will deliver in 2024 to better support our members to access future FCDO funding and make vital changes in our sector towards greater equity.
