This finance training course is specifically designed for small charity leaders with responsibility for financial management. The training will be led by Stuart Davis, founder and director of Stuart Davis Consulting, SWIDN Trustee and specialist charity sector finance consultant, and will aim to improve your confidence and knowledge in financial management. Geared towards generalists overseeing financial procedures, such as budgeting, annual accounts and day to day financial controls, this course is crafted for those who may not have previously benefitted from professional finance knowledge but have responsibility for micro or small charities.

Who Should Attend?

If you find yourself responsible for financial procedures and belong to a small organisation seeking to enhance financial proficiency, this training is tailored for you.

What to Expect:

This training session will include the opportunity for participants to freely ask questions, share experiences, and dive into the intricacies of financial management, including the opportunity to pose anonymous questions on more sensitive financial areas. It is structured to empower attendees with practical insights, tools, and techniques to navigate the financial landscape effectively.

About the Trainer:

Stuart Davis is a qualified accountant (FCMA), with several years’ experience of working at a senior level with renowned charities, including Amnesty International, VSO and Elrha.
