Hosted by Pahar Trust Nepal, this event promises to be a night filled with inspiration, motivation, and Nepali culture. Hari Budha Magar is the world’s first double above-knee amputee to summit Mount Everest! Determined to change perceptions of what is possible for people with a disability, Hari victoriously stood atop the world’s highest peak at 8,849metres on 19th May 2023.
All guests are invited to join us for a drink at the bar before and after the talk with a chance to try some authentic Nepali momos. Members of Pahar Trust Nepal will be available all night to answer your questions about the charity and their projects building earthquake-resilient schools in rural Nepal.
All profits from ticket sales will go towards providing safer and brighter futures for children in hard-to-reach Nepali communities.
