Ripple Effect webinar: How can NGOs motivate and sustain Volunteer Farmer Trainers?
Join Ripple Effect online on Tuesday 27th June 2023 at 4pm UK time to discuss how to motivate and sustain volunteer farmer trainers once donor funded projects end.
In Ripple Effect’s programmes, volunteer farmer trainers (VFTs) are project participants who demonstrate willingness and aptitude to share sustainable agriculture training with other farmers from their group and community.
This one-hour webinar will summarise key findings from Ripple Effect’s research into the sustainability of a VFT model post-project in Uganda and Kenya. The research was funded by USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance’s Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis and Learning (IDEAL) activity. A presentation of the research’s key findings will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with experts in the field of community-based volunteers.
