Racism in Aid: Global Solidarity Working Group

end racism
Event Description

SWIDN’s Global Solidarity Working Group will be meeting 6 months after we first discussed the UK Parliament’s Report Racism in Aid. This session will be an informal space to share progress, challenges and resources. We’ll also be hearing from Hub Cymru Africa who will talk about their Anti-Racism Charter, focusing specifically on:

– in-country expertise and equitable pay structures
– diversity in boards, teams and volunteers
– internal advocacy for anti-racism

You can read the IDC’s report here and access SWIDN’s resources on tackling racism in aid here.

Please note – this working group is for SWIDN members only. If you’d like to join SWIDN as a member find out more here.

Register to join the Zoom call here!
