Technical Performance Manager – Amplify Change
Full-time, based in Bath, UK

Amplify Change is a multi-donor challenge fund to support civil society advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We are a fund which aims to empower young people, men and women to realise their sexual and reproductive rights.

The Technical Performance Managers take responsibility for the grant management process, providing performance and risk oversight for a portfolio of SRHR advocacy grants, providing technical expertise for grantees, and providing oversight of the grant making process and implementation, including on-going learning, monitoring and evaluation of grantees. Job holders will work closely with the team of Grants Officers to ensure grants move efficiently through the grant management cycle, alongside the broader AmplifyChange team. The team reports to the Grant Support Team Manager.

As well as being experienced in grant portfolio management, more experienced job holders will be expected to have technical specialisms within the field of SRHR, for example in stigma, youth or gender-based violence depending on the volume of grants and composition of the portfolio.

You will need to have:
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, or an undergraduate degree plus specific experience in the field of SRHR.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the field of SRHR within an international development, public health, human rights or social policy setting. Significant experience working on SRHR programme management and advocacy within developing countries and conflict settings will also be considered.
• Demonstrable experience of managing projects, contracts or grants, including performance management, KPIs, evaluation and learning
• Proven ability to operate in a team environment liaising with diverse teams in an international setting
