This role is key to providing financial management support to MannionDaniels UK Limited as well as its related companies in Kenya and Nigeria. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Finance Manager has responsibility for managing all the operations of the finance function which currently includes 5 ledger systems across 3 companies, as well as a team of 5 staff members.
You would be accountable for ensuring all financial processing is completed within specified timelines and meets required compliances, producing and presenting management, projects and financial accounts, and supporting in the development of company revenue and profit streams for new bid and proposals.
If you have solid experience in financial management and are used to working at a senior level, this role could provide you with the opportunity to gain an in depth knowledge of financial processing and reporting in the context of foreign companies, accounting for grants management and financial operations for projects being delivered outside the UK.
You will need to have:
A relevant professional accounting qualification
At least 8 years’ experience working in accounting and finance, preferably in a consultancy and or professional services environment
Demonstrable experience in financial management and processing in the context of foreign companies, finance operations inclusive of contracts / projects being delivered outside the UK
Previous experience of managing and developing staff, and developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders especially dealing with people from multi cultural backgrounds
