Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Motivation is seeking someone with an interest in international development and/or disability, who would like to gain experience working for an INGO.
We are looking for a volunteer to join the Programme Development team to commit to 2 or more days per week (negotiable).
We are looking for a person who can preferably work with us for at least two to three months to complete a few discrete research projects. We would like the volunteer to spend at least one day per week in the Bedminster office, but could work further hours remotely if more convenient.
The volunteer’s main task will be desk research, and depending on the volunteer’s availability they could take on further tasks - content writing for internal reports and updates, assisting with qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting for monitoring & evaluation, for example.
An understanding of the international development sector and/or disability issues would be advantageous. If you’re confident with desk-based/internet research, can compile reports and written content to a good standard, are able to work independently with limited supervision and communicate effectively with a team, please get it touch with a CV and details of your availability and what you’re looking for from a voluntary position so that we can have an informal chat.
Please contact Nathalie at Willmott@motivation.org.uk for more information or send a CV and a short cover letter to express interest.
Motivation regrets that at this time, due to limited funding, we cannot cover travel expenses.
Disabled applicants are encouraged to apply.
