Send a Cow is a growing and dynamic international development charity providing training, and ongoing support to smallholder farmers in Africa. We give poor families and communities the hope and the means to secure their own futures from the land, in line with our vision of a confident and thriving rural Africa.

We want to be working with 1 million people a year by 2021; to do this our income needs to increase to £10m a year by 2021. The high level fundraising teams have had significant success with key institutional donors in the UK and in-country, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships and individual donors. We are now looking to capitalise on our excellent networks and relationship building to maintain existing support and source new donors globally, ensuring we have a strong mix of funders across these streams.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Fundraising Research and Insight Executive to join a new team responsible for supporting this work across high value fundraising. You will understand the challenges and opportunities for funding work in Africa and relish the chance to work in close collaboration with our highly professional fundraisers in the UK and in-country. You will know how to filter and synthesize information into accessible and relevant insight to support these teams, and have an inquisitive and creative approach that understands the importance of introductions and referrals in fundraising success and how high performing research and insight teams power this process.

Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you. Applications close at 9am on 22nd October 2018.

To apply please visit our website www.sendacow.org/careers for the job description and details on how to apply.

Ideally, candidates will be available for interview on 1st November 2018.

At Send a Cow we are committed to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults in our work. We expect all of our employees and volunteers to sign up to our Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy.
