Purpose of the role:

The United Purpose corporate portfolio has been identified as a significant growth area, and we are looking for an experienced new business fundraiser to accelerate our corporate offering and meet ambitious fundraising targets as part of our strategy. •Increase income and engagement from our current partnerships and event sponsors, taking a new business approach to account management.
•Managing relationships with current major donors, identifying new major giving prospects and implementing effective donor cultivation plans.
•Maximise the income we receive from existing corporate partnerships, both creating uplift in year and renewing for future years.
•Lead the existing portfolio of corporate relationships, ensuring corporate supporters are stewarded appropriately, resulting in profitable long term partnership.
•Significantly grow new business income through tenaciously seeking and pursuing leads (including cold approaches), delivering partnerships which drive income and keep pace with developments within the sector.
•Help build our brand, including coordinating cross department working aligned to corporate CSR/charity of the year applications and ensuring appropriate fundraising materials are in place to support corporate needs.
•Develop a portfolio of assets including pitches, case studies and quotes, to use in future proposals and across the team.
•Put in place rigorous processes to ensure prospects and donors are efficiently and effectively managed.
•Responsible for excellent stewardship for high value supporters, developing personalised supporter development plans and delivering these via telephone, mail, email and face to face meetings.
•Leading on the account management of existing corporate partners to ensure continued support.
•Identify local, regional and national opportunities to develop an active pipeline and secure income and support from corporates to achieve new business targets.
•Designing tailored cases for support and proposals to inspire and promote new business opportunities.
•You will play a key part in our carbon credit sales business, being the key representative for sales across the UK.
•Be an ambassador for United Purpose at external events, working with colleagues, volunteers and Trustees to unlock new opportunities.
•Regular reporting against expenditure, budgets, activity and performance against target.
