Are you a student or professional career-changer interested in starting a career in international development?

Are you a practitioner interested in furthering your career and, particularly, collaborating with universities on research and study projects?

Are you an NGO interested in working with a university and/or hosting students for work placements or internships?

Are you a international development professional who is willing to share your career journey to help inform and inspire the next generation?

If you answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions, or are just curious, come along on 29 January to the fourth annual International Development speed networking event hosted by SWIDN and the Universities of Bath, Bristol and Exeter!

Last year, almost 100 people attended this event at the University of Exeter. Join us this year for another vibrant event!

The event will be interactive with speed-networking opportunities among students, academics and international development practitioners.

Share your career journey in international development to help the next generation - volunteer to speak at this event!

We are looking for networking speakers to talk to small groups of attendees about their career journey in international development to help inform and inspire the next generation! Organisations that register to attend as networking speakers will be given the use of a dedicated display table to promote the work of their organisations to attendees. You can register as a speaker at the link below by clicking the correct sector/speaker option when selecting your ticket. Reasonable, return, standard class travel expenses to and from Exeter can be claimed if you register as a speaker for the event.

If you would like more information about speaking at this event, please contact Ciaran Stoker at Exeter Univ on: c.s.stoker@exeter.ac.uk
