What the workshop will cover

We are delighted to offer a workshop to our members, led by Christina Youell of People & Performance Ltd

Do you find workplace politics frustrating? Come along to a workshop exploring gender, power and politics at work and find out what you need to know to successfully navigate power and politics in your organisation.

Christina says: "Statements I often hear my female coachees make include: ‘I hate the politics’ or ‘Work would be great if it wasn’t for the politics’. If you have said any of these statements then this workshop is for you!"

"Many people avoid politics and they often get frustrated when they don’t understand how a decision has been made or why X has more influence than Y.  Women in particular, although not exclusively, avoid workplace politics, seeing it as a negative thing. In this workshop we will:

  • Explore how organisational politics works
  • Identify how political your organisation is
  • Understand how power is present in the workplace and how it is displayed
  • Identify approaches to empower you to navigate organisational power and politics"
