This new Working Group is open to all Members of SWIDN (inc all staff of SWIDN Member organisations) who are interested in, and/or working on Gender and International Development. We meet around once every other month.

This meeting will be facilitated by SWIDN/group member and gender & rural livelihoods specialist Clare Bishop who will present and facilitate a discussion on household methodologies. They are proving to be a very successful gender transformative approach which enables households to move away from some of the traditional gender norms and progress towards shared family visions. The session will include testimonies from rural women and men who describe how they have used this approach in their households and how it has transformed their lives.

Please come ready to discuss and contribute your thoughts and experiences on this topic during the meeting.

Please note that this is a bring your own (BYO) lunch event.

PLEASE NOTE this meet-up is only available to paid members of SWIDN.
