This Working Group is open to all paid Members of SWIDN (inc all staff of SWIDN Member organisations) who are interested in, and/or working on digital communications for international development.
Campaign data, what makes a good campaign & learning from others
This new SWIDN Digital Communications working group is for SWIDN members who are engaged or interested in any aspect of digital comms as it relates specifically to international development including social media, email marketing, websites, and other areas - for all members, whether working for NGOs, academic institutes, private or public sector organisations, or as consultants - all are welcome!
The group will:
- Provide a forum to bring together members interested in and engaged with digital comms specifically for int dev
- Exchange learning, knowledge and best practice
- Share information on latest developments, skills and techniques
- Share learnings on what worked, what didn't and why, success stories, challenges and learning from them
- Discuss other topics and host guest speakers agreed by the group
The group's volunteer facilitator will be Kat Gulyas, Digital Marketing Manager at SWIDN member organisation Deki. Group members are encouraged to play an active role in the group by offering to lead/facilitate occasional sessions on particular areas of interest, expertise or experience, and/or suggesting suitable external guest speakers.
For this second meeting of the group, we will discuss campaign data, what makes a good campaign and learn lessons from the campaigns of other organisations, large and small.
