Data for Development Festival fringe event & Data Drinks reception

This will be a fringe event to complement the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data's (GPSDD) inaugural Data for Development Festival which is taking place in Bristol from 21-23 March.

Chaired by Claire Melamed, GPSDD Executive Director, and taking place on the eve of the official Festival (partly because capacity at the Festival itself is limited), this special fringe event will be a chance for anyone with an interest in data and international development to hear from some of the Festival's keynote speakers about the headline issues around data and international development that will be discussed at the Festival.

Chair: Claire Melamed, Executive Director, Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data
Speakers:
Aidan Eyakuze, Executive Director, Twaweza Africa & GPSDD Board Member
Ayumi Arai, Research Fellow, Centre for Spatial Information Science (CSIS), University of Tokyo
- Angelica Maria Palma Robayo, Coordinator - Technical Cooperation and International Relations Office - National Statistics Department DANE Colombia

After the fringe event, there will be the opportunity to join other Festival speakers and delegates at the official 'Data Drinks' reception nearby in central Bristol.

This is a free  event for anyone with an interest in data and international development, however places are limited and it is essential to RSVP at the link below.
